Is this pub across the street from the entrance to willamette park?
Scott and Andy are probably going to meet up with me here tonight. We’ll see... Never know with these guys. Am I right?!
MoreGood food and good drinks
Love the atmosphere here snd the history. ..love the whole concept.. I love how close to the river it's located..great after a dsy kayaking on the river... also enjoyed the music choices playing...
MoreJust drove in from Boulder, Colorado. First stop the Fulton pub. Can't beat the dungeon burger and hand cut fries, Al fresco at Willamette park!
MoreStopped in on a whim. Glad We did. Food was very tasty and not overloaded with salt. Had the cheeseburger, fries and African peanut soup and Gyro. Price was right, service pleasant and efficient. Clean. Will return.
MoreWonderful menu, food and great customer service experience
The first bar I ever went to. Great tiny McMenamins. Very nice patio out back, good seating out front as well. Cozy bar and booths.
MoreGreat laid back vibe. Good beer selection.
Cool place! I love the plants and the outdoor patio/beer garden! I really enjoy the McMenamins Locations. The food is good and the service is pretty good as well. This one had a cool mens restroom. It looks like a closet behind the bar, but opens up and goes further back.
MoreVery cozy old-school neighborhood bar that just happens to be owned by the brothers McMenamin. Feels like the old Portland I used to know. Friendly and competent staff and much more consistent food quality than some of the chain's locations.
MoreMy favorite McMenamins, and I've been frequenting them for 20+ years. Quaint. It's like your own back yard. Nice atmosphere, good staff. No pics of the burger as I wanted to just dig in. The burger was more well done than I asked, however it was still good.
MoreMy roommate and I have eaten at almost every mcmenamins in Portland. We love the Baghdad and edgefield but this was by far the worst experience we have had with this company. -Tots = underdone-Salad = pathetic handful -Burger = wrong order-Service = garbage Try any other location, please don't waste your time here.
MoreDropped by for our passport stamp, cool vibe.
Great food and friendly people, also outstanding service.
Standard McMenamins food (which we enjoy) but the waitress forgot part of our order. By the time we got her attention again, we just canceled it. Not crowded considering it was a sunny Saturday night with outdoor seating. There are outdoor tables in front and at the side and in the back. It also has the McMenamins fire pits. We visit this pub after walking along the water but probably will find another place the next time.
MoreGreat service... but who could go wrong with a name like Gary. Had their exclusive beer Muddy puddles... it was delicious. Gary was great and gave me some highlights of other stamps nearby.
MoreAs long as you realize it's a McMenamins and so the food is exactly what you expect it to be, this is definitely one of my favorite spots. On first look, it's a rather small space, but walk through the kitchen out to the beer garden and you'll see why this is such a great spot. Plenty of room outside with a wood burning fire pit in the center, which is delicious on a chilly spring/autumn night!
MoreFantastic, so nice to be able to sit down outside & have a meal & tasty beverages with the best service you can find, just made the entire after kayaking on the Willamette
MoreBetter than average bar food, small but quality beer selection, great location and easy parking. Service was great, too! They currently have the side patio and front patio open re:covid and we're conscious of seating more than 6 feet apart. I appreciate the thoughtfulness
MorePerfect. Lunch on a beautiful early Fall day in the beer garden patio.
Pros: Beer is good, indoor seating is a bit cramped but the outdoor patio is really fun. Close to Willamette Park too. Staff is usually attentive and nice.Cons: I've eaten here once or twice a month for about ten years, and I can't anymore. The food quality has been slipping the last year or two, and it's getting to the point where the value isn't there. I get that labor and food cost inflation has been brutal in the restaurant industry but I suspect the parent company is pushing a bit too hard to preserve margins at the expense of quality. The last five or so meals I've had there were just ... bad. I'm sorry Fulton Pub, I think we have to break up.
MoreSmall and personal. Decent beer and food. I got there at 5ish and it wasn't busy. A good place to come and chill.
MoreWhat a wonderful find. Great atmosphere, staff and patio. The beer and food are fantastic. It is my go to place.
MoreStandard McMenamins offerings, greatly enhanced by the smaller, cozy atmosphere and the EXTREMELY good service. This has become a main staple when we can't decide where else to go. An excellent neighborhood bar.
MoreFood was delicious and beers hit the spot. Lovely outdoor atmosphere. Def a keeper.
MoreThe BBQ quesadilla was delicious and the garden is a gorgeous and relaxed place to read or just to talk.
MoreExcellant service and food!
Nice back yard inside the building.
Not even close to McMenamins standard... Just a bar, nothing special... Bathrooms dirty.. Food wasn't great... Very surprised...
MoreCold drinks around a warm fire pit. Perfect.
"Everything is Cool" on nitro was good. I liked the turkey sandwich. The soup needed more salt.
MoreVery-high kitchen staff turnover makes for very-inconsistent food prep. Normally this location is okay but lately, it's really went downhill. Burnt food. Tiny kitchen with novice cooks. Slow and understaffed. I used to love this place.Ordered a Gyro...the meat was burnt black so what did the cook do? Flip the meat strips over of course then send it out! Sent it back. What did the cook do? Replace the burnt meat strips, leave the burnt pita (why bother re-making it, right?), and send it back out again. Then, found a big ole' hair inside the sandwich after my first bite... Entire gyro crumbled into pieces. Didn't bother sending it back. I just paid and left. I won't be returning anytime soon and debated on whether to file a complaint with McMenamins as I am certain they don't want their brand tainted with Fulton Pub's quality. Yes, it was that bad.
MoreLocated in the John's Landing neighborhood in SW Portland off Macadam Ave, Fulton holds a special place in my heart as a frequent haunt and meeting place. Tiny (I mean tiny) working man's bar with maybe 8-10 tables and booths combined, but walk through the back of the bar and past the kitchen which leads to a huge outdoor beer garden were the brewery is located, as well as additional seating and a fire pit for those cold Portland nights. Fulton has the standard McMenamin's food that you can find anywhere and the usual flagship beers such as Hammerhead, Terminator Stout, and Ruby Ale, but the gem is my favorite the Nebraska Bitter (created and first brewed at the Fulton and is named after the street its located on). Come by during Happy Hour (3-6, and 10-close) for $2-4 food (those Cajun tots are like crack!) and $3.75 pints as well as limited beer tasting events every Thursday.
MoreAlways like the Fulton, one of the better Mcmenamins. The staff are always friendly. The main bar isn't terribly big, but there's a few seats out front and a nice patio out back with a fire pit. Only mark off is because they don't always have the better Mcmenamins beers on tap.
MoreGood beer and service with a comfortable and pleasant place to sit outside.
Fun atmosphere with good food and great outdoor patio seating for the hot summer or cold nights when the fire pit is roaring. This location is also a Pokémon gym so fun for all Ages!
MoreFirst time visit! Great sandwich (Maria's Magnificent, Massive grilled chicken with the works)! Great local ale/stout selection. Irish Niro Stout! Perfect!
MoreSmall for this group, but fun.
Good burger. Kid friendly. Fries were over fried or old but other than that good food.
MoreExcellent cheerful and beer place!
Great atmosphere for a lively but laid back night. Very good service, but the cooks missed a request (no sauce on a burger)
MoreA nice neighborhood pub with a good vibe. Parking was challenging but not that hard. . Look for the dancing witch. Service was great. Grey hound with fresh squeezed juice is always a favorite. Had the cheese steak very good. African chicken peanut soap was a nice surprise.
MoreCozy. Good service. New beers. Had BLT with egg and avocado. Yum
Open currently for to-go only as of 4/27/2020. Awesome location to pick up food and then go across the way to Willamette Park to eat. The garden burger is delightful and so are the tater and cajun tots. Highly recommend this restaurant.
MoreThe patio seating is very nice. A great place for a relaxing lunch.
We have driven by the Fulton Pub for years. Stopped by for a quick dinner last night. What a great neighborhood scene along with a friendly atmosphere coupled with excellent food. We will definitely be back.
MoreCool little bar on the edge of Portland. Great atmosphere and layout.
Great environment! ! The over 21 bunt cake is to die for.
I've been here twice so far and really enjoyed it each time. It's got a great, chill vibe, cool art, good beer & food,
